Dear Parents/Carers
A reminder of term dates
This will probably be the last newsletter of the school year. The term will end on 22nd July.
For those children who are leaving to go to school staff have completed reports on their development and these will be made available for you to read and sign. If you have not already seen your
child's report, do not worry, we will get around to everyone in turn.
Mini-Olympics
We would like to thank everyone who supported the mini-olympics, it was a lovely day and the children all enjoyed taking part. Please could we ask anyone who hasn't yet returned the forms with sponsor money to do so before the end of term and thank you to those who have already returned them. We have recently spent some of our fundraising money on outdoor investigation equipment and would like to add further to those resources.
Summer Trip to Children's Action Farm
We have had some very good feedback from people who went on the trip and this appears to have been very successful and enjoyed by all those who went along, children and adults alike.
School starters
We have a support teacher, Lisa, within the Children's Centre who would like to offer an informal "drop in" session to anyone who would like support in their child's transition to school. Whether you have any concerns, questions about how you can support and help your child or would just like to join other parents for a chat over a cup of tea and biscuit, Lisa is happy to support parent's needs. If you are interested can you speak to either Sue or Debbie so that we can focus the session on what you want.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have helped and supported us over the last year and to wish all those children who are going to school all the best in the future.
September
The first day back in the new school year will be Thursday 3rd September for those returning.
End of term parties
We will be holding end of term parties on the last day of term, 22nd July. These parties are for all children whether they normally attend a Wednesday session or not. If your child normally attends morning sessions then they should attend the morning party and if they normally attend the afternoon sessions should attend the afternoon party.
- Morning party will take place from 9.00 am – 11.30 am
- Afternoon party will take place from 12.30 pm – 3 pm
On a final note we would like to wish you all a very good summer.
Thank you once again for all your support
Sue, Debbie, Alison, Ann, Liz, Sarah, Theresa, Abi, & Susan
