Cherrywood Community Childcare is registered with Ofsted and subject to their stringent inspections, as laid down by the Children Act 1989 and 2004.

The aim of Cherrywood Community Childcare is to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment whilst working within a curriculum, ensuring quality for all children and families.

Pre-School

The Pre-School Indoor Area offers a large bright spacious room for a vast number of activities.

We also have a spacious outdoor play area that boasts a new climbing structure.

All senior staff hold a Level 3 or higher qualification. Remaining staff either hold a Level 3 or are working towards this. All staff also hold First Aid and Food Hygiene Qualifications.

At Cherrywood Childcare we value our relationship between the setting and families. Opportunities are available for parents to be involved in the activities of the setting, which aims to support parents and families.

We encourage parents/carers to help on our rota at least once a term, as well as supporting fund raising activities.

Nursery Room

Our Nursery Room is newly decorated and equipped. It is an exciting and interesting place for babies and young children to explore and develop.

There is an area where babies can crawl at their leisure in safety and comfort. There are resources and toys for them to investigate and experience. There is a sleep area with ample sleeping provision. There is an art and craft area, book corner, home corner and a play structure with a crawl through tunnel and a slide.

There is a separate bathroom area with changing facilities. There are high chairs, toddler chairs and a table for eating all meals and snacks at.

The nursery provides both babies and young children the opportunities and resources to play, grow and learn and to be cared for by trained and dedicated staff.
